Rapport 15-03-2011
HCMC VIETNAM
This morning we started off having a meeting at Mr Hans his house with Mr Sytse.
This took about one Hour and after this we wend of to the Gia Dinh office.
The traffic was terrible and it took us twice as long to get to the office.
Down the way to the office the car broke down so when we came to the office we had to wait for new transportation.
After a couple of hours working at the office we could go on site.
First job was at ;386/19 Le Van Sy .
Mr Thanh team leader was at this location flushing the system .
The costumer called in a complaint about sand in the connection.
The team was flushing for 30 minutes and still sand was coming out.,
What is the reason that the need to Flush, how can the prevent this and why don’t the measure what the flush this is NRW what can the do to improve this situation.????
We wend on to go and look at the stockyard in the area.
Here all materials are waiting to be put to good use ,a lot of material
A lot of material on stock?????? That means a lot off money is there how was it store??? Is there something the can do to improve. So give solutions and suggestions.
After the stockyard we wend to 343/23 No Trang Long.
At this location Mr Bao and his team under supervision of Mr Son were repairing a leak saddle .
The team was repairing the connection when they ran into the leak.
The bolds were rusted and gave way
The valve needed to close the pipe was missing so the work was done under pressure.
There was a pump on site but the hose removing the water was to short .so where was still about 1.5 meter water in the hole.
This mend the mechanic had to dive and work under water only feeling.
I was at this location fore about two hours and in this time the leak wasn’t fixed and water was still running freely
I think investing in a new hose fore the pump will be a good investment.
Because working in the way shown in the photos is NOT the way to do the job.
Please ad some more suggestions and improvement, only comment is not something that help them to improve. Suggest shut the valve, better equipment, safety matters, water quality issue.
