This we morning there was a presentation of new equipment, that we have organised. A manufacturer showed its new HDPE mirror welding machine that came from China and looks really good. All the caretakers of Thu-Duc were standing outside to see what’s is going to happen en how the machine works.
Because the equipment came out of China, the explanation came in Mandarin and was very hard to reed for the people of Vietnam. To use the machine well, there must be a good translation in Vietnamese, so all people can work with the machine, and know how the machine works.
It is very important that the caretakers learn:
• What is the diameter op the pipe
• How long do I have to heat the pipe
• How long is the period to cool down the pipe (before we can move it out of the machine clam)
This all is very important because only with this information you have the perfect HDPE welding .
When the presentation was finished, we went to Luong DinhCua 25/6c. This is the area where the go demolish al the 2000 houses for a new area there was a leak nearby a fire hydrant the mechanics had already begun the put the barriers on the road for there own safety
Over time it became apparent that the bolt and the nuts were completely gone, because the clay soil ground was very acid and there was not much left on the thread of the bolds. A few weeks before there already was a leak very close to the fire hydrant. They fixed this, but you can understand that there can be more leaks in this acid clay ground .
After asking them, the mechanics also checked the other bolds and nuts near the leak and replaced them. This way they do not have to come back for a new leak next week.
Another day in paradise!!!!!!!!!
